Quoats  privacy  policy

Quoats respects the privacy of our customers and is committed to ensuring your privacy is protected. This  privacy  policy  sets  out  how  Quoats uses  and  protects  any  information  that  you  give  us  when  you  use  this  website.

What  data we  collect and how we use it

1. If you order from us:

  • Your name – so we know what to call you

  • Email address – so we can confirm orders

  • Delivery address – necessary if you want to receive your Quoats…

  • Credit / debit card details – we only need these when you place an order

We collect this information to fulfil our services to you (ie we’d like you to pay for your Quoats, then we need to know where to send them!). We will use third party data processors to fulfil parts of this commitment – this means Stripe or Paypal to take payments and Royal Mail or a courier such as UPS to deliver your order. We confirm third parties are GDPR compliant to ensure your data is secure. We will only keep your information for 5 years after your last purchase or otherwise as required for our business operations records or by law. If you do not complete your order any contact details and other data we collect may be used to contact you, to help us understand if you need any more help with your order.

2. If you sign up to our email list:

  • Your name – so we know what to call you

  • Email address – so we can send you news, competitions and special offers

We use a third party marketing automation platform (Mailchimp) to process your information. We confirm third parties are GDPR compliant to ensure your data is secure.  We will continue to send you marketing messages until you specify otherwise by unsubscribing to our emails (there is a link to do this on the bottom of each email we send).

How do I unsubscribe from communication

You can opt out of marketing communication at any time by using the unsubscribe link which is included in all our emails.
